ENplus A1 Certificate
The Pellets quality is evaluated according to physical and chemical criteria and the Koala Energy is one of the first companies in the wood Pellets business to acquire the ENplus A1 certification, with requirements based on the international ISO 17225-2 standard, which guarantee quality throughout the entire production chain.
This system of certification aims to guarantee the supply of wood Pellets with the well-defined and stable quality for heating and power installations. The certification includes the requirements for the production and quality control of wood Pellets, product requirements, for labeling, logistics and storage and requirements for delivery to the final consumer. The products need to obey a series of technical specifications, such as length and diameter, mechanical durability, percentage of fines, ash and moisture, apparent density, calorific value and percentage of additives.
SBP Certified
Koala Energy is certified by SBP, an international program that assures that the biomass used in the production of wood pellets is legal, sustainable, and fully traceable.
